Got a problem

Here is what went down.

Started to disasemble manifold

Decided that I would not mess with it so close to the cruise, so I put it back together. I have not actually unbolted anything on the manifold except the coolant resiviour, and had replaced a few vacuum hoses with silicone replacements ( the inside diameters were different, to troubleshoot I replaced with stock ones and no change )

Very Rough Idle
High AFR's (19's)
Check Engine Light ( I'm bummed I don't have my AP anymore =/ )

Any ideas? I realize all of these symptoms point to a vacuum leak somewhere, but its the check engine light that worries me. I'm going to pressure test tomorrow morning and will update the thread then.

When you say pressure test do you mean a leak down or compression test?

Um.. leak test.

I would say its un-drivable.

Oh, I forgot to mention it started up a few times before this without the check engine light and lean (18-20 AFR) idle. Then, the symptoms were HIGH idle. I had a pre-existing lean condition at idle ( 15-16afr ) that persisted through the first few start ups as normal.

It's most likely some sensor not fully plugged in or something. It ran fine for a while and then weirdness.

Okay, here is what I have come up with.

Now that I had the benefit of it not being pitch black outside... This little guy is not connected. There is nothing close to it that needs to be connected, so I put it to you.

1st

ZOOOOMM!

Obviously a vacuum line somewhere, and one that I suspect is related to my FPR. Again, runs okay for a little, high idle but no wierd noises or anything this lasts about 2 minutes. Then, BAM, AFR's off the charts and of course starts to limp and stumble.

Where does that line go!

Fixed it, still does this:

Again, runs okay for a little, high idle but no wierd noises or anything this lasts about 2 minutes. Then, BAM, AFR's off the charts and of course starts to limp and stumble.

Try resetting the ECU since you might have fixed the problem.
