On you Sti or WRX? How do you like them? Hows the road noise? Handling wet and dry? What did you have before them and how do they compare to that?

I have the GS-D3s on the Legacy, 215/45-17. I've been very, very happy with them. I'm too lazy to go out to the garage and check, but I think I'm over 20k miles on them now with plenty of tread to go. They're very quiet, no road noise at all on the highway as far as I can tell. Dry performance is phenomenal, I've surprised myself a couple of times with just how grippy they are. Wet performance is also great, basically the undisputed champ in that regards (based on multiple independent tests, such as this one - http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=806165 - and Tire Rack's testing).

For the performance and longevity they offer I think they're a steal.

dry traction is better on the kdw2 as well as cornering stability and steering response. and they look better. but the wet weather is unfreakinreal on those gsd3's.

171/corner for gsd3's
125/corner for kdw2's

imo the kdw2 is the best tire ive ever driven on. i have never been close to breaking traction on dry or wet pavement and i go into corners rather warm sometimes.

wouldnt mind trying those gsd3's on a side note. maybe ill pick some up for the wifes ride. good luck.

Im going to see if i can find a set this weekend. I really dont want to have to order them but i will if i have to.

I have been told that the KDW2's handle better in the dry than the GSD3's but they are also louder and the wet traction is not as good. Im looking for the best balance and i think the GSD3's are the best of both. Hope the price tag is as brutal as i fear it is.

I have the F1 GS-D3 on my Evo. They are not better than my old Advan A046 on dry but much more quiet and better in wet condition.
