Good Replacement Tires
www.tirerack.com is the place to get tires from. Even with shipping it's cheaper then buying local. Also you can squeeze up to 215/50/16 on your stock wheels. 225 would fit... but would look funny.
It'll buldge out a lot.

Correct no Azenis at tirerack, but there are so many other great tires to choose from. The MX's look mighty sexy.

Decide on a budget Jon as some of those tires cost almost twice that of the Kumho 712.
Infact the 712 shouldnt even be on that list as it's in no where the same league as everything else.

If I can get some good tires that don't cost as much but still perform as well as the more expensive tires then I'd go for those as well!
Kumho MX's are really tempting seeing as how they are not that expensive and they show good results. However tread wear is important though!
Jon
Performance and long lasting don't go hand in hand... To get better grip you have a softer compound. It's a tradeoff.
But with most of those tires you'll get some 15-20k miles out of them if you dont race on them too much. Occasional auto-x and a few track days per year.

You wont know which will last longer. Everyones driving habits are different. My driving style may only have a set last 10k miles, where if you drive like a grandma you could go to 20k. just buy something and expect about a year of use out of them. that is a good rule of thumb for a daily driver on performance tires that actually runs their car hard.

Bang for the buck - Yokohama AVS ES 100
For $600 shipped, I would definitely take a look at the Yokohama AVS ES100. They outperformed the Kumho's in a head-to-head comparison.
