Question Good place to see the sunrise?

Hey, could someone recommend a good place to see and photograph the sunrise from? I've already been told Makapu'u lighthouse is a good spot, but I'd like something farther up on Windward side.
Cheers for New Years!

Sandy's would probably be the best place this time of year.
Makapuu is the easternmost part of the island though.
As far as something more windward maybe Kualoa might work.
