They used to sell it out of the 55 gallon drum for ~$5/gal! I thought it would be CHEAPER!

So what's the deal with this kind of gas? Is TOO high an octane good or bad for the engine? Can I mix a little of this with lower octane? Any ill effects using it straight up? Please advise...

We're getting ripped off, look at 76 brand 100 octane goes for in Cali!
