Apparently a brand new 76 on King street is selling 100 octane at the pump.

 

Is the pump operational yet?!?!? I've been driving through the gas station almost every night since last week - but the 100 octane pump handle is marked "out of order"... I'm assuming they hadn't filled the tank yet...

Couple more days... Soon guys. As for price it used to $5 a gallon when it came out of the drum, but who knows now that it's in the pump.

 

I'm hoping for $4/gallon... That'll make 1/2 tank $40... WHOA. Maybe $3/gallon would be better!

our tanks take about 15.9 gallons? so if we fill up 14 gallons using 92 and then add 100 oct...it should be close to 93. hmm...cool

Where on King St.?

 

Its on the right side. There will be a 76 station with a sign saying RACING FUEL. Its the one they have been renovating for a while.

 

It's Gayle Au's new station from what I understand. He used to own Niu Valley Union (which recently shut down). The service area is going to be taken care of by the crew from Elite Auto Service.

It's kind of across the street from McCully Bicycle Shop.

And so close to my place... break in... break in... break in...

 

Drove by the station tonight and there were no orange bags over the "racing fuel" pump... Not sure if that means anything, but if anyone was wanting to give it a try now might be the time.
