If

you saw my other post, I'll be taking baseline temps to determine how much an aftermarket radiator/thermostat/cooling plate and/or oil cooler affects temps. I'll be doing a before and after so peeps here can ddecide which (or both) is better for them. I'll let you know. The oil temp sensor isn't hooked up yet, but should be by this weekend.

Looking very nice San. I really like the defi control unit in the cupholder area. How long did it take you to do this? Please update us on your temperature test result.

The

control unit wasn't easy. It's not perfect, but it'll have to do.

Who asked you? To each his own. Thanks for stopping by and providing your valuable insight. I'm feeling nice right now so I won't say STFU.

I haven't ruled out the 6-speed, but I'm trying to help Shane Morris out. I don't drag and until I get to some stupid power, I don't think I need the 6-speed. I also don't want the extra weight. If I get to the point where I'm going to drop in a built block, I'll probably go with a built transmission, not the 6-speed. Contrary to popular belief, the 6-speed isn't bulletproof. When you price the 6-speed with all the parts you need, a built tranny isn't too much more. Just my $0.02.

I wasnt saying "it sucks, fix it" you seemed to have put it up for a "hey, look what I did" type of thing, which are usually responded to with opinions on it. I'm sorry, if you only want positive feedback, say that next time

Look,

I don't know you, and I could care less what you think. I posted up about the Defi gauges in another post on this forum and was asked for pics. I posted pics. Do a search. I don't post much, as I try to say something when I post. As I said, I'm in your debt for your substantial insight and knowledge. I only hope that one day I can repay your generous contributions. Sheesh, and people wonder why I don't post here much anymore. NASIOC is positively friendly by comparison. I'd tell you to have a beer and chill, but you're too young.

hey man, I think youre the one that needs a beer and to chill. I was never telling you to change your setup or anything like that. There is no need for the sarcasm either. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything like that. I did not mean to make you get defensive, and I'm not going to get into any more of an argument on the subject.

Lurk

elsewhere. Maybe you missed it, but everyone here had nothing but nice things to say. Maybe it's the Hawaii attitude (Aloha). I've never seen you post here, but you feel the need to post for some reason. Stick to your local forum as we're a pretty tight community here. Kinda tired of arguing with a kid. Do whatever kids in Monterey do (lurk on car forums?).
