Bottom line up front: If you ever see where a guy with screen name of 'attitude' is selling something that you'd like to have, either on here or on NASIOC, you can rest assured that he is one of the most responsible and reliable members you will find. Have NO reservations nor anxiety if you make a deal with him.
Just a little background. In putting my project back together, I am equally hampered by very little available time to work on her and severely less available funds due to family expansion.
I have been posting on NASIOC (and here) a couple of questions that occur to me as I'm putting it back together, however slowly. There are some awesome recurring posters in the thread who suffer my foolishness and ineptitude with patience and a sense of humor. He is one and his advice is always helpful (since he is currently doing the same thing I am and it's his first time doing it, too.) VERY HELPFUL.
Anyhow, the stock STi 240mm clutch kit that I have is very ragged. I also have a Exedy Hypersingle that I bought used for 1/5th of it's brand new value because the seller told me that it needed a new clutch disk and replacement parts were just impossible to find.
Anyhow, where that leaves me is that if I get my car to realize the power that I think it will be capable of, neither clutch will do much good, and even if they do the job immediately, I'll be needing to swap it out within one or two months, most likely.
Attitude saw my situation and told me that his old, stock clutch was in very good condition and he'd just send it me. He wouldn't even let me pay for shipping costs.
Hopefully, I will be able to return the favor sometime. Also, hopefully this is a direct result of trying to maintain my good karma. I've always tried to be as responsive, responsible, reliable, honest, and I think that I usually sell my parts for far less than what I see others selling them for.
