i like the friday meets. unfortunately i work early in the mornings, so weekday meets would be no good for me. just my input.

i wouldn't mind a bbq next month. i think someone should plan one out. even bowling would be pretty cool.

i definitly like the bbq/mini golf/bowling ideas. i think it would be more fun than just standing around the cars (although that is a good time) and more importantly i'm sure it would boost the female population.

but fridays are good, and a monthly bbq/cruise isn't a bad idea either...

 

we had a monthly bbq before. the whole purpose was to have people get to know each other. it was a success, but then eventualy people stop pitching in for food and just show up to eat and go. that sucked. i'm not saying everyone did it, but i saw some people that did. imho, if you guys are seriously thinking about doing this bbq, which i think it's still a great idea, expect people doing this kinda crap.

 

you got me all wrong ted, i like standing around the cars with girls...... we just need more of them (well you guys anyway, im married ) and chicks dig mini golf and bbq's. it takes the social pressure off them if they dont know alot about cars but want to have fun (same with the non-mechanically inclined males).

 

oh btw, my wifey did the whole angry/jealous thing when i whispered "thats hot" after the chick in the movie was talkin engine haha. and am i the only one who can't help laughing when there wife is mad , she is just so darn cute when she is pissed lol.

 

If anyone tries to pull that crap, we will lock them up in a McDonalds bathroom stall with the other Dave...

Well it's been awhile since I attended one of these, but I have always liked the idea of having the meats on Friday. I should start showing back up to the meats in October once I get back from Iraq.

 

im good brah, busy with family and work....me and sher had dinner with sexy alexy last week and boy interesting things he told us.....hahaha...I'd rather talk to you about that in person....call me up when you get here.....

 

good to hear from you Mike....back on topic, i like fridays cause im off weekends....sometimes before on the weekends we would have bbq/potluck at the park, you can take your family, shoot some hoops, volleyball, baseball, hangout, etc.....
