I'm just curious....what is the best way to launch an FXT to get that high 13 second 1/4? I'm curious as to what this drivetrain can handle.

I've seen the pic of your XT in the NASIOC forums. Nice ride...have you clocked it yet? what does it run? What mods do you have?

Steve has a thread on his 1/4 mile time and how he launched. I'll look for it in the AM. I'm not a 1/4 mile guy so I don't know. I have a few performance mods but mostly suspension and brake stuff at this point. I'll be doing a cobb down pipe and accessport eventually though. To tell the truth it has enough power for me. Not that I don't want more

All my mods are here:

in the forester section.

Cool My 02. on SUV's

Sport Utility Vehicles:

Lets see in Alalska it is a true sport Utility Vehicle, in the Snow, mud, gravel, rivers. In my experiences with my AWD SUV I even pull out of ditches weather it be mud or snow and ice big trucks and other want-to-be SUV's I'd say yes.

If your looking at appearance, and to understand the engineering going into this very affordable vehicle I would say definately YES.

Thats comming from the thoughts of my own two cents from driving SUBARU'S since 1988 in ALASKA.

Hawaii, you get to drive these awsome Subaru's here on the island but you'll never ever now whats it's like to drive it everyday like I have in that corner of the globe.

Is the Forester an SUV or a Wagon? Just think for a sec. by yourself and don't read into things so literally. DAH!

Aloha,

El Nino (The Storm)
