Talking Forester topple a wrx??

i just drove our forester xt(turbo) with manual trans... omg... it pulls so much harder than my stock wrx. kinda embarrasing that a funky looking sport ute/wagon hybrid can possible out perform a wrx.....okay maybe i am exaggerating just a bit...but it does pull hard with almost zero lag.

You're not exagerating. I drove the XT 5mt they have at Waipahu and I'm convinced that it pulls harder than the stock WRX...I just couldn't talk the wife into it.

That thing is made for a VF30 and WRX ic.

Lightbulb yeah...

tq is good but at 60+ mph in a turn i think i would feel a little better in a wrx.....who cares if the forester gets better 0-60 times...right? well actually i do care...cuz all i need is some late 30's or late 40's momma with the kids whizzing past me at the stop light... that would suck

Apparently, the Forester can take a stock WRX suspension as a bolt-on... there's a guy in Cali Auto-X'ing his. Logically that means you could drop ANY WRX-specific suspension into that thing. Another reason I want the Forester. Someday I may get a new suspension for my wagon, and then the XT will get mine.

Man, I can imagine someone trying to show off, and you know people always try to. Grandma pulls up in her forester and smoke billy when he's trying to impress his girl. That would be HI-larious.
