I'm looking for a firewire video capture device/card.
Anybody got one for sale?
I need to transfer video from the JVC miniDV camera to the 'puter.

Pinnacle LINX systems are my recommendations since they're really inexpensive and gets the job done.

Office Depot has them to my knowledge through Amazon.com. Check Compusa also but the firewire version is super hard to find but they are good. Amazon is the only firm place with it. For 70 bucks, you can't go wrong. It is a card though.

If you want an external device, the Pinnacle Moviebox DV Capture is good. But that sets you back 170.

Yeah got a 3 port you can have. And this time it really is an internal, unlike my bastardized usb nic you are using.
