Alright here is the deal:
I took my wife's cavalier to Firestone on base in Kaneohe to get the tires balanced. I figured while I was there I'd have them do an inspection on the car because I was feeling to lazy to do it, and the brakes scraped but the pads were just over half worn. This is what firestone came up with after their inspection:
The front pads needed to be replaced...$125, $75 of this was labor
But the pads still had half the meat left on them
The brake fluid needed to be flushed...$72
It sure didn't look like it needed to be flushed to me
The roters needed to be replaced because the were "too thin"...$145
They were just as thick as the day they came off the lot, w/o any damage
In total these bastards wanted to charge me $450 for all the bull they said the car needed. Now that isn't even the best part. When I got the car home I changed the pads anyway figuring what the hell. When I went to take off one of the tires on of the lung nuts was just hanging there at a really wierd ange. Almost as soon as the lug rench touched it the bolt broke right off. I didn't even put any torque on it. An FYI for anyone living on MCBH. DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE.
As for the title to this thred I think a monkey could do a better job then Firestone.

You dont work at the firestone on MCBH do you. Because i'm going to burn that place down. (After I get my money back)
And just in case anyone was wondering. I didn't pay for them to install all that stuff on the car. I just put that up there to show how outragious that place is on there prices.
