Father's Day @ the Track!
Didn't know if too many people knew. The track is opened today for a swap meet/car show/drag racing. Part of my father's day gift is to go racing!!
Hope to see some of ya there!
Edit: I don't think it's the normal evening hours either. I thing the lady giving out tickets last night said something about 9-5.

LOL....I'm already back. Woulda been a GREAT day for tuning, except it was really warm out. Only about 20 cars total running, and most of them were bracket racing. Kinda cool for $5.

Most of us live on Oahu, so we go to Hawaii Raceway Park. There are also dragstrips on Maui and the Big Island that I'm aware of.

Campbell Industrial on Oahu. It's on the Westside of the island......
- Take H1 west, exit Kapolei, Makakilo.......
- Take a Left@ the first stoplight
- Take a right at the 4-way intersection
- Go all the way down, take a right (The road only turns right)
- Take a left at the next stoplight
- Keep going down until you see "Hawaii Raceway Park" on the left side of the road.
- Enter.
It's $8 to enter for watch or race. It's open for street racing on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-midnight, but in the summer, Wednesdays are open too, from 6-11pm.
Don't forget, you need your driver's licence and pants to race. If you run 13s or quicker, you need a helmet.
have fun!

Thanks guys.... now I need to decide if I am keeping my WRX or not? I am moving there from Pennsylvania. I will be on Oahu for the first month that I am there, then they are sending me to Kauai for a year. Then back to Oahu for the rest of the time (which could be forever)
Here is PA my car ran a best of 12.8 @ 105mph.... so if I bring it I will need a helmet. But thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it.
