external wastegate+sbc-id?

my external wastegate "spring"is set to open at 14.5 psi,but i really want it to open up later! my thoughts is that the sbc-id is better off with a internal wastegate setup<<<please correct me...

having it open to early is altering my boost,so i'm thinking of possibly switching my boostcontroller to a EO-1 (greddy) so it would be possible to control my wastegate to open at 18 psi instead of 14.5.

HELP!!!!!!!

Boost controllers don't control spring rate/ pressure. Just buy a stiffer spring. If it's a Tial wastegate, then you have a handful of vendors out there that sell their springs.

Your EM should be fine I think. I agree buy a new spring and can you change your boost level on your EBC?
