If this is your first time
changing the dp, your old gasket should work fine...
Dang it...CBE, thought it was a mis-spelling, but Cat-Back Exhaust...anyhow, I'm going to leave my post as is just in case someone wants to read up on what I've done...
Your new Cobb Cat back should have all the necessary gaskets and hardware...you will probably use the stock donut gasket to connect the stock dp to your new cat back...the Cobb downpipe uses the stock donut 2.5" gasket to eliminate leaks...or at least minimize them...works real well. The PDE dp also uses this system...two of the best dp's out there imho...
I've reused my dp gasket 2x with no problems...I did replace it on my third change though. If you decide to get a header...I would recommend you change out all gaskets (2xmanifold, manifold to up-pipe, and up-pipe to turbo)...I learned the hard way...You will be very happy with your Cobb...not too loud or quiet...just right...
I also use the Kartboy hangers...no more slop...the exhaust system stays put. I am also running the engine damper which also helps with my exhaust movement...I use to have squeaks from the exhaust moving side to side with the engine...now, this sound is minimized greatly due to the damper...
