hey yall, got a question taht is burnin my skull:

got an Invidia 4" in - 3" out DP, and i want to know if it will bolt right onto the stock MP of an 03 BES....thats 2 1/2" MP...i need to know..thanks. too much work to be wrong.

 

The Invidia doesn't taper down to 2.5" and can't hold the donut gasket right?

I believe that the bolt holes will line up but you will have some exhaust leak (shouldn't be too bad) until you get a catback exhaust that is 3" at the flange.

 

my invidia v2 down pipe came with a gasket and mated up with the mid pipe fine. this was on an sti tho, but i think the only difference is the the shape of the resonator, other than that it think it might be the same.

 

Mine lined up not so great the first time around and it was rattling like a *****... but some help from a good mechanic really fixed the problem.

 

what did that mech actually do? is the rattle that bad? i just dont want to get teh car on teh lift, spend a few hours doin the wrench time and have to revert to stock, ya know? hell, ill just take it all off, run exhaustless...lol
