FYI- Be careful,
Got a ticket going out of Ewa tonight (intersection of St Francis Hospital) HPD was out in force, counted seven patrol units (4-motorcycles and 3-patrol cars) from St Francis Hospital, Ewa on-ramp, Ewa off-ramp, and H-1 after the Ewa off-ramp. Went and returned from COMP USA and saw/passed them (and they still were ticketing two cars as I passed while returning back to Ewa). I should have known, last week from Ewa to Kapolei I passed by five patrol units (3-motocycles and 2-patrop cars) at about 8pm. Beware they'll still be out there in the near future.

 

Yeah I know I just came back from Kalihi and there were alot of police on patrol tonight.

 

sorry to hear that, dan. but yeah, i went to kunia last night and passed them too. saw at least 4 motorcycle cops pulling over lotsa cars...i was on "stealth mode" drive ..the saint francis hospital is a notorious speed trap as it goes from 45 then to 35mph. but if you are heading in, the only 35mph sign that you will see is the one posted on the post of the stoplight right at the intersection...did they pull you over heading out or coming back in to ewa?

 

Got pulled over going out of Ewa. You're right Ted, he used that 35mph sign as a reason for stopping me. Lesson learned , Sheldon was in the car with me when happened ( I think he was in shock )
