I remember when someone needed something installed a whole gang of forum members would show up to help or just support. I bought a new suspension and honestly I barely turned a wrench as there were so many members at my house that had done so many installs they were subject matter experts. You might only have the parts and people would bring everything else you needed. It was a really tight community. Not sure how it is now as I had to PCS in 2006.

Not so much Fosters anymore, but a beer in my hand as I type.

I am certainly willing to help bring what ever you guys had back after I swap my engine (Gotta swap my blown ej25(well find one first), it shouldn't be hard. If people really care about what it means to own a Subaru then it'll just flow. 808subies seems like a pretty legit thing because facebook is the new social media of the 1st and probably second world countries. But not a lot of activity. on IG I have a few people here on Oahu that seem very active "with their GCs but they are contatnly blowing the group messages up.

Im new to iclub but have heard about the "good ole days" would be nice to get together with some of the older subie guys. im deployed right now but definitely trying to make the forester go fast and meet with some of you guys when I get back on island. seems like all of the old crew guys/gals no longer show up to the meets.
also any reason why you guys spell it "MEAT?" I dig it,,, but i feel like there is a story behind that.

BTW im Daniel the haole guy with the Black Forester XT. looking to lift and throw some go fast bits on when I get back. @islandstyle When is PDX coming back?

haha, it's kind of a joke because the mEEts are comprised of mostly guys. so it's spelt "meat" for that reason. other than myself, I've only seen a few other girl-driven Subarus come out, but just once in a while.... 👐 even though I know they're out there lol

come out ladies! 😄

I kept wondering this same thing myself. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.
