Drivesavers is EXPENSIVE!!!
Well I have a 250GB hard drive with an ext2 partition. It has several year worth of downloads that I didn't want to loose. So my only choice is to pay $500 to $2500 for them to recover my information. F*cking rediculous. Does anyone know of anywhere esle of have a corporate account they can hook me up with?

That's the cost of data recovery. We have a per MB service, but if most of that drive of yours needs recovery, then it won't be worth it. A decent one that my friend uses is virtual lab from binarybiz. It's a downloaded program, just put your drive into a working computer, and plug in yoru CC number. No idea offhand if it works on a linux part tho, you'd need to check.
1.2 terrabytes of ****? DAMN! You are the new **** king! Someone get him a crown!
I usually back up all my stuff to CD and to the internet (I havea group on msn.com where I store stuff that's important like my resume and dirty emails).

I saw we try to do it ourselves. Who wants to turn their house into a big cleanroom?
