Whistle sound= turbo spooling
dp/up (no cats)= louder exhaust

I really cant say how noticable its suppose to feel but you should feel something. Did you reset your ecu after the mods?

Pull the negative terminal on the

battery and step on the brake pedal for five seconds or more.

I would never reset the ecu unless its a last resort. There goes all the months that the car spent 'learning' and second, the car will bog like no tomorrow until it learns again.

You're on stock exhaust right?

When I rode on Steven's wrx when he had stocker exhaust with PDE uppipe and Mitch's dp and didn't feel like there was huge gains, just enough to know there is a difference but when he switched out to full catless with the Cusco dp and the Hayabusa, all hell broke loose.

If you are running stock exaust there is your problem, you should have a friend rev up your car so you can hear where the whistling sound is coming from, from my experience i think it might be that one of the gaskets was not replaced or there is a exaust leak somewhere. Good Luck. Keep us posted

There WILL be gains from an up and downpipe. Give it a few days to learn the mods. It only took my car a few days, Installed PDE uppipe and a custom catted downpipe on a monday, ran at tracks that same friday......dropped bout a half-sec.

When I installed my up-pipe and down-pipe, I reseted my ecu and did the Shiv ecu learning trick. It worked like a charm.
