Door Moldings... (attn: huby)

Any one know how to take them off a gc body style door? Don't want to break anything in the process... I know huby has done it already. Any insights?

the process wasn't easy...we torn the moldings off and there were holes on the door...pretty decent sized ones too...we spot welded the holes shut...then we found out that the door warped from the heat....had to pound and reshape the door...don't forget about the electrical components inside the door that can be damaged from the heat also...i highly suggest not to cover the holes with bondo...it will sink overtime....and our doors aren't the smoothest when closing so they may crack off...the antenna we used reinforced kevlar to cover it...my door is still a little wavy and i'm always worrying about someone dinging my door...i have pics of the process if you want...hope this helps
