One day I closed my door and my door lock cylinder loosened itself. It now sits a couple inches back. I went to the dealer and the salesman said it's a common problem. He knew exactly what I was talking about before I even finished explaining. Then I went to the service department and they denied me cuz my warranty expired 5 months ago.
Did anybody else have this happen to them? Where did you take it to get it fixed? I don't think any new parts need to be ordered cuz nothing seems broken, it just needs to be tightened or something. I took the inner door panel off to check it out but it didn't seem like I could get to it easily.

 

Same thing happened to me on my car, except my lock fell into the door. it should be easy to fix...just take the door panel off and tighten from the inside

Thanks man. I know it definitely wasn't an attempted break-in though cuz it happened in front of me as I closed the door. I will tackle this tomorrow.
