Decal Makers/Shops
Hey all. I'm looking to get a sticker of this made for my car:

Anyone here print up decals or can recommend somewhere? Couldn't find a definitive answer through searching.

Cool! I had just started to convert the CB emblem to vector file, but I got kinda lazy. I think I'll continue on with converting it over.
As for places to get it done, try Vakamon or I had stickers cut at Aloha Signs in Waimalu area.

I ordered some single-color die-cut decals from Honolulu Sign Company almost a year ago. They have great service, and very high quality products. The decal has survived on my rear window, exposed to the sun out here in Kapolei every work day and it still looks great. I'm not sure how it would work with your multi-color decal but you could at least give them a call or e-mail to find out.

One more question of opinion for you guys. Do you think I should leave the colors as is, or go with a solid color. At first I was thinking of getting it solid white for my windows, but is the design to complicated for one color? I wouldnt mine keeping the colors and just sticking it on the side of my car somewhere.
Keep in mind, this isnt gonna be a big vinyl, maybe 6x6 inchs.

If you just do the yellow part it will look fine in one color, but if you want to do the whole thing it won't look right. If you are going with one color, Honolulu Sign charged me $35 for whatever could fit on a 12" x 12" sheet. The graphic artist managed to fit 15 of my decals on one sheet, so the price per decal wasn't that bad.

You could do it in one color. I would make sure that the yellow 'winged' emblem is not one piece with the rings and olive branches. So it stands out. Sounds kind of confusing...
Basically, if look at the emblem, the black outline of the 'winged' portion should be space between the other vinyl pieces.
This could also be done in 2 colors too, but that would be a 2 stage vinyl sticker. Apply the first one to the window, then take the 2nd one that has be cut in a different color, then line it up on the window with the first one you had just applied. This method much more of PITA to do. Or you have the shop put both colors on the backing for you, so you apply both at once on the window. I am not sure if they would charge any more for that.
Hope this helps.
