I don't know much about heads, but figure that if I were able to get a good set of used heads, I could pnp them and buy some nice aftermarket cams.

What do you think?

 

I think the other heads you mentioned (the v7 w/ Jun 272's) sounded like a better deal.

From the pictures, the damaged Legacy head appears to have serious damage to the valve seat. Doesn't look like you can use stock valves as a replacement (you'd have to machine the seats much wider).

The internet here sux (but at least I can get on pretty often, although surfing a snail-slow web is maybe even more frustrating than having access in the first place.)

It is gonna be really hard to surf and shop from here. Hopefully they're gonna move me out to the main floor of the 'new' Joint Operations Center (move me out with the 'population'), so maybe I'll have a little more privacy and uninterupted FO time. (FO=has a dirty word and alludes to wasting time.)
