3. fill up your gas tank...yes, less gas means less weight, which means faster car, but you do NOT want to experience any fuel starvation while on the track...especially with other drivers close to you... **this means YOU shin**
4. ensure your tires and brakes are in good shape...have your brake fluid changed if it has not been changed recently...i have had old fluid boil on me, and it was not a fun experience...

As for brakes, you FAST guys had better heed that warning... Flying into turn one without brakes really sucks...
Hmm, when I went out for the BMW driving school I never used brakes "in" the rubber room. If you setup your line correctly going into the rubber room you should be able to accelerate (just not too much as a tail slide could make for a bad day)
The hairpin turn on the long track with stock WRX brakes really sucks.

Why not ? It is faster than my Suby and I am not joking although I do only have a RS it is still faster by a long shot. Come on you guys will have somebody to pass for sure... Don't hate the Hundah.
You can try and register whatever you want at Speed Gear, .... but why you'd want to race that is another question.
And you wouldn't be racing with the Subaru's anyway, ... they have "special" sessions for cars like that.
