Exclamation Damn 92....

So i have a problem gang, I CAN NOT GET THE REAR BOLTS OFF!!! the rear strut bolts that connect to the hub just do not want to budge anyone got any ideas? im afraid to strip the nut. I've soaked with PB, hit it with a hammer, cursed(that one did not help at all) and flipped it the bird and nothing. Any idea guys? Thanks.... the suspension is built and shipping soon and want to be able to just mount it right up... Thanks Gang!

let soak with more PB and hit it with a 1/2 in drive impact gun.

Use an extension and universal with a good 1/2" impact.

I had the rears of my wrx be a b#tch like that. Heated it up (like houdini says) then get a really big.... breaker bar. *POP*

CAREFUL. Last I checked PB is flammable so give it a good clean before. Dunno but maybe a heat gun would work?

If you got a good 1/2" breaker bar, lie on the ground and use your foot on the bar and push it with your leg muscles if you got your car on jackstands and not on a lift...
Just be sure you are using a six point socket and that its on the bolt head square so as not to round the nut......

Worked for me on gorilla tight bolts a few times..Good luck..

Well gang i did it... the nut rounded out and had a total how the hell is this going to work moment, because if the struts still connected the axel can not come out and thus in a slight problem.... well all in all a nice set of vic grips, and a 8 foot long breaker bar did the trick. NOW SHES ALL READY FOR HER RALLY SUSPENSION, when ever it gets here
