I don't have uppipe or downpipe yet. I am ordering those as a Xmas present for my car. =) I am probably going to get the Perrin up and down pipes. I want to keep the up and down pipe made by the same company.

Any other suggestions on up and down pipe would appreciated.

Thanks,

Brandon

My experience with Perrin was bad,

very bad. Their customer service sucked. I don't care what they make in the future, I won't be interested. I would look at Invidia. Reasonably priced, and I've never seen anything negative about their products. I'm still thinking about their titanium cat back.

Thumbs up

Hey B! Looking hella tyte. In addition to looking good, I bet your car also sounds good. Hopefully see you at Euros soon so I can hear it. Oh, by the way did ya see Bob's Cusco rear set up on his Sti? That my friend is absolutely beefy!! That's the problem with having an STi, after the initial expense-can't mod for a while (in my case-a long while). It's good to be Bob eh?

imo, just because customer service sucks, doesn't mean their products suck. perrin downpipes and uppipes fit perfectly. i have never heard of a case online or from someone that their perrin up/down pipe did not fit. just like how san said about customer service on perrin, i don't really like the marketting aspects of invidia though. the rip everything off so it seems. RS-R name(they are not related to RS-R of Japan) and their company name(close to Tech giant nVidia?). heck, on invidia products, such as the downpipe and uppipe, it'll be cheaper to get the helix, which is exactly the same.

If my consumer experience with a company sucks they don't deserve, nor will they get my money - I don't care how good their product is.

Yeah, that was my point completely.

I don't care what Perrin comes up with, it won't be on my car. I'm used to customer service from companies like Shimano (mtb parts). I had a part almost 3 years old. It had a problem, they replaced for free, no questions asked. With Perrin, everything wrong was "my fault", whether it was or not.

About Perrin

I've had some good customer service from them, but I have to recommend AGAINST the perrin/willwood brakes that fit under the stock wheels. As soon as I get larger wheels (yes, I know I've been talking about this for a year) My willwoods are going away. Other than that, I really like Perrin's products.
