Bwahahahaha!!! I totally blocked out Ken!!! Man he put the hurting on all of us on sunday...
Good job poser on knocking all of us down a notch, esp you know who... Of course, now he'll be buying some even more blingtastic rims and tires. Not to mention, curtis will be buying some tires to replace his corded hoosiers... boo.

Wellll..... I was reading that the toyota/subaru RWD coupe concept is going to be made as a subaru world wide, with the toyota version being only for japan, so.... Maybe I'll be getting back into the subaru thing again.
I just hope it's on a new small car rwd platform and not some cannibalized impreza platform. They're supposed to be using a boxer engine, but I wouldn't want it to be wAaaaaAAAay out front over the wheels like the old fwd imprezas were. Oh, and for the love of god make a coupe version to go with the 3door hatch.

Nice times everyone...
Can someone tell me how the PAX multiplier thing works & what it's for?
http://www.sccahawaii.org/2008results/10-5-08.pdf
Ordinarily I'd be thrilled to be 4th out of 6 in my class.... but one of the competitors was a Toyota Tacoma!
I obviously have a long way to go... but I'm having fun along the way (when I'm not sprinting to pick up cones or, worse yet, magnets that kept flying of the same car). I thought I was going to have a heat stroke. Note to self: Don't wear black next time.

Ha ha ha
I'm laughing because I fully understand...

The PAX Index is an autocross handicapping system designed to allow comparison between the various SCCA Solo II
classes. The PAX numbers represent times that should be run by cars developed to the limit of the rules and driven by
national caliber drivers. The PAX Index is updated each year to account for rule changes and is based on major events,
including the SCCA Solo II Nationals, where there are plenty of fully prepared cars in the hands of top quality drivers.
To use the Index, multiply a given time by the class index number to get an indexed time. For example, if a CS car runs a
time of 42.800, its indexed time is 34.668 (42.800 x .810). If on the same course, an ASP car runs a time of 41.000, its
indexed time is 34.850 (41.000 x .850). In this case, the CS competitor performed the best.

Pax time is weak!!
Overall times are all that matter!!!
Just kidding,I dont put a lot of thought into pax times!!
Especially since the "stock" classes allow for r-compounds to be run, also very few people build cars to the limits of any class here.
Being #1 in pax is no where as cool as being # 1 overall, unless you are 1st in both!!!

I've always wanted to try out the UH formula sae car... It looked like some sick fun.
Carts aren't allowed in hawaii region though, but man that would be another crazy ride.
