Cobb Stage 2

Okay I just got my cash in, and I am going to definitly buy a Cobb access port, but I want to know which turbo back exhaust everyone recomends. I don't need the catalitic converter right? Since we have no exhaust laws here or in Indiana I see no point in paying extra for it, and risking the power loss. So how loud is the Cobb turbo back, and how hard is it to install? I have a lift I can use. If there are better systems out there please recommend them to me.

Talking Recon Sticker "R"

I belive the Recon stands for "Vehicle Reconstruction Permit," which is needed to pass your safety check if you modified your car:

. Dropped it too low (Suspension)
. Increased wheels/ tire 2" or more above factory dimensions
. Exhaust line
. Engine mods
. etc...

I had mine done for my previous ride...and as long as you have an Affidavit for the parts you bought, you should be ok...

It's Alright...

Well technically you need a cat for recon but the many times I've been there, they were either too fat or lazy to get down on the ground and look for one.

You don't need Recon for exhaust and thats the only thing somebody is going to see when you install the Cobb stg2 I've had different cars here with exhaust and have drove by cops and they don't care just don't get one that they can hear you from miles away..It seems they really don't care about exhaust unless it is Honda loud..I have a TBE no cats, different wheels, and the only STI with sidemarkers and I've drove by cops all the time no problems..You can buy my TBE check the classifieds..

Shaggy, wrong again. You do not need a cat to pass recon. I just passed yesterday besides how would they know you don't have a cat they don't start your car and you don't need an affidavid for aftermarket parts anymore anymore. As far as the exhaust, can't go wrong with a complete stanless HKS with that access port, got a 13.03 with this setup. As far as recon, talk to me in person i will explain it to you, don't worry my car passed easily and now that you did your alignment yours will too.
