My wrx is showing signs of clutch death. slipping, strange engagement, etc. Ive been shopping around for different brands, and ive noticed a few.

Ive seen a lot of f1 clutch kits for sale, at a decent price. Ive also seen the exedy clutch kits for a little more, and competition clutches.

My co-worker is suggesting i go with competition clutch brand. I understand that in most cases you get what you pay for, but i cant help but notice the cheaper "stage 3" f1 clutches for sale as well.

My question is, what are the most reputable/reliable clutches out there? I want to make sure that im looking at a reliable clutch, and maybe even save some money along the way if there is a brand out there that is reliable while still being cheaper.

i would go with oem clutches. aftermarket clutches are some of the reasons why wrx trans break.
