Just do what I am in the process of doing...

1. Melt Bumper
2. Leave burned plastic on tip for 2 years.
3. Hope the polish fairy shows up.

Ok so I decided to actually do this today though I had already bought what was needed.

Here are the results and I must say I am COMPLETELY impressed by the quality, ease of use and how fast it works.

I used mothers mag & aluminum polish with a mini power ball. You really don't need to use the power ball though since a micro fiber cloth that I used did just as well. The power ball was used primarily for the tips. I left the brasso I bought at home depot at my moms place so didn't get a chance to use that. I'm going to follow up with the brasso once I go back to my moms place again.
