Clean/Polish Exhaust?
I'm sick of looking at a black tipped tailpipe and wanted to clean/polish it so that it looks the way it did when I first bought it. Any tips or methods on doing this?

They sell those brass/metal surface cleaners at Longs or other places, I think those might work pretty well. Me and my friend were polishing my intercooler pipes the night before the car cruise, I'll have to ask him what we used because I forget what it is

Penetrating oil and good ole muscle...
Yeah, I would use some WD-40 and a bit of elbow grease with a terry towel...
I just went through this...took me about 30min to get some nice sized plastic/paint off my tip...works though.
Since the paint/plastic is oil based, and so are most penetrating oils...it acts as a solvent and eventually enables you to remove the gunk from your tip.

step 1. get yourself a can of mothers polish, a microfiber towel a dremel
with polishing tip and a case of diet coke.
step 2. call justin
step 3. give said diet coke to justin, sit back and watch him OCD.
but seriously mothers and a dremmel will do wonders. exhausts can be tricky tho and those water spots on mine wont come off.

I sent you pictures the other day. I have been too busy to plan anything. I'm out of vacation from taking a week and a half for my son's birth. I got told yesterday I have to fly to Charleston for a 1 day meeting. You can get Brasso at Wal-mart or anywhere else. It works great for polishing metal.

Loved that mothers smell!!
