Check engine light and abs
So i stated my car and the check light and the cruise control light was on and the letter S for spirts mode was on. I brought it in and they said the gas cap wasnt tightend so they cleared the code at the dealer. Now the abs light turned on this morning so as the traction control light for about 10 mins while driving. I parked turned off the engine and turned it back on and it went back to normal. Should I bring it back to the dealer anyways even though its back to normal?? What would cause that to turn on by itself?? Thanks for the input. I have a 2013 STI with 5209 miles in it.

ABS and Traction control lights are tied to eachother.
If either of those two systems detects a fault, they will both be illuminated which indicates that they are both disabled (at least that is the case with the ABS light).
I dont think the two things are related. Your CEL and cruise will illuminate if the gas cap is not on tight but those have nothing to do with the ABS and/or traction control.
I would take a look at each ABS sensor by the HUB and check to make sure that they are in tact and free of debris.

no but really if you don't have a code now just wait and see if it comes back. if it does then you should get the code read. when you fill up make sure you turn it at least 1/2 turn after it starts clicking.
