Cheap Ipad mount in Legacy
Was searching for Ipad mounting in a car ran across this thread..
Just interesting that it was in a Subaru Legacy, but easy DIY that wouldnt cost anything except the cost of an apple case.

how are you liking the Ipad so far? personally I am going to wait. I can see apple adding more HD space and and webcam on the next generation.

I like it a lot...it replaces my netbook which I still have...but its something to do before going to bed reading emails, watching vids, etc.
Its mostly portable entertainment for my car or watching my wife play her tennis matches on the weekends...I have the WiFi only, but I use MyWi for internet connection if I need it..
Jailbroken to boot,....

This really wouldn't be good for my driving style.....woops. as the vents break and ipad slams into the passenger door. haha.

HELLS YEAH! iPad with MyWi FTW!
Kinda wish the ipad could do a little more though (i.e. OS Snowlepard?). With the touch interface like the iPad running SL would be nice!

the Ipad is a cool gadget,..
It serves for me as a media center to watch videos, listen to music and surf the web, but on a larger screen that is easier to type on...
The graphics are much better and can serve for me I can do Pandora broadcasting thru my stereo as well as watch DVDs or movies if I wanted too...mostly for Ipod/pandora stuff tho...
Im sure the next thing would be as a G-Meter as the Iphone had this app a while ago and Im not sure if its still exists.. Im sure this would work with the IPAD....
Also, maybe someone will make an app for it to monitor values if that was possible as a datalogger? Who knows, that would be cool to see boost,fuel, knock monitoring and guages, but not sure if the Ipad cpu can handle that..
