Ipad Dashboard mount for 08+ sti

anyone see this new mount soche is making for the ipad (vid below shows it installed in an 08+ sti). Its supposed to replace your stereo. It looks pretty damn huge on the dash. Don't think I'd be doing this anytime soon.

Pretty weak execution, the install could have been a lot cleaner as opposed to essentially just snapping it to the dash. FAIL

^^ agreed, there is a lot of space behind the stereo DIN's and a flush/pivot mount would be hawtness. just imagining an iPad in my car is redic tho

Guess it's a quick and dirty install. Plus they probably didn't want to hack up the dash to open up the DIN hole for something that big...

Maybe apple will come out with a 5" iPad in the future and people can then custom make a motorized tray system where the thing can come out from the dash and popup like current DVD players...

That setup though makes a killer GPS setup though...
