Changing Belts

I wanted to make sure the 2 or 3 belts in the front of the engine are powersteering, alternator, and a/c. If anyone has changed them already, are there any tricky things I need to do? Maholos if you guys can help

Ditto...

I've changed out the belts many times and it takes less than 15min including the addition of a lightened crank pulley...

Just remember to loosen the two nuts prior to loosening the belts...people have tried to loosen the belts only to break the plastic adjustment sleeves...

I knew you would chime in on this...

I could go look up the exact name of the items...but you know what I am talking about...

to adjust the belts taughtness, you have to turn the bolt attached to a plastic threaded sleeve that moves up and down...if you don't loosen the locking nut holding the bolt in place and try to adjust the tension of the belt, it will break the plastic piece...

yeah...

seemed kind of cheesy to me too...but they are...

I guess there has to always be a weak link prior to breaking something more important or expensive...

Thumbs up Best thing to do...

would be to go to Justin, 91Sleeper's mini install day...he, Jon, or someone will be there to help you the first time...so you can continue the education when someone else needs to learn how to do this...I would come but I am in Hilo right now for my son's soccer tournament...install days are fun!
