dude the diffrence with the carbon trunk and the aluminum trunk is three hour trip to the gym, but of course, i bought it for looks, i didn't need anymore weight reduction to go faster

Weight reduction is always a plus. Period. Not just for straight-line acceleration, but for handling as well. Engine internals (pistons, valves, etc) benefit with lighter parts (less reciprocating mass, higher rpm potential). Lightweight driveshafts, flywheels, etc, allow quicker acceleration by reducing engine load. Light wheels, tires, rotors, etc, reduce rotational weight. All things being equal, a 2500 pound car is going to "pound" a 3000 pound car. You have to decide if your car is more show or more go. You also have to decide where you'll compromise one for the other.

^^^ My question is if you do lighten the front (i.e. JDM front bumper beam, subframe removal), won't it change the handling characteristic?
