Caster Adjustment?

I was just curious if anyone knows how to adjust caster angles on a stock suspension or if it is even possible to do so? I went to try and fit some rally tires on my 96 impreza coupe awhile back with kainoa and realized that on my drivers side tire my caster had become positive. most likely because some lady in a huge suv had swiped the front of my car. i do my own alignment and it really isn't that noticeable while driving but i really want to get those rally tires so i can atleast be somewhat competitive with you turbo subies and miatas!

before anyone asks i replaced my axles and tie rods a few times and nothing was bent or damaged. the frame itself is in good condition and the only thing that was truly damaged was the bumper and headlight. if you have any ideas i would really appreciate it! =]

The front control arm mounts have slotted holes that provide minimal adjustability, I would say less than 1 degree.

If its really bad and you can't adjust it to normal, you might consider new control arms. If that still doesn't work it would be safe to assume the frame is bent and you are pretty much pooched.

thanks for the reply. i was looking down under there and comparing the two sides and i'm starting to think that the bushings may have gone bad. there is a gap between the bushing and the control arm. unless it's supposed to be like that it might just have to be the control arm. but i think even that one degree will help because it really was just a hair difference between the two sides. plus that rally tire was on a bigger rim with a bigger tire. thanks again.

Mine went bad as well, I just replaced them with Whiteline urethane bushings #W51709A they are a bit hard to find now because they just went through a part revision.
Superpro also makes them and you can find them here.

I removed both lower control arms and took them to George's Auto Parts in Waipahu and had them press out the old bushings.
