Id stay away from the $9k gold sti,...
The black one is nice, but luckily you got members who know the car has rod knock,...
The white one is really nice and modded well. Just hope it too isnt messed up internally.

Do your research by using carfax to at least some idea of car history. Do what you are doing on iclub and maybe search other forums after you talk to the owner. So if owner posted any build information or updates or has threads on the car to get an idea of problems or mod information. Looking for a unmodified car would get you a clean slate, and you can build the car your way. But buying with all the modded parts woukd save you money and time at the cost of unknown reliability or trusting the owner.

Good luck, and have fun with your new used sti,..

The carfax was the cleanest I've seen he's had it for over 6 years and it's so clean car fax recommends 1000$ price over blue book which is incredible.. Never seen a car with that clean of a record.. All services were up to date with most major thing being a oil pan gasket.. And leak down/compression test done ever 15-20k

I'm excited I trust him and everything he's told me
About the car has been true. There is always a risk buying any used car but with the mods and the brands he used with receipts it was really taken care of. I'm excited to take it over and keep it in top notch form. At least I will treat it
Like a child and it won't be beaten to death by a teenager

also if the dealer stis are overpriced, why not just see shaggy and get a brand new sti off the lot.

The Craigslist ad was removed by user so I'm assuming he got it, if not I'm sure it won't be long until we see that car around
