i talked to Brandon this morning.. and its sounding like the car may be totaled.

this isnt confirmed yet, but based on Brandon's experience and expertise, he thinks she's going to be called a total loss.


with this in mind, i am going to try to save as many of my parts as i can before they take her away.

few things im looking for, so i can swap in stock stuff to take my aftermarket parts out.
A stock Battery , and any color STOCK hoodscoop

if anyone has any of these items and feels like helping a suby brother out.. PM me or let me know, and i'd be happy to buy them from you to save some of my things.

well, they called her a total loss.. she's done.



thus- i will be selling a hell of alot of parts starting next week.. because im stripping her this weekend.

btw: dealing with Brandon and Oka's auto body was a very positive experience. Brandon- thanks again- we'll be in touch.


also , State Farm insurance was suuuuper easy to deal with.. and very fair ..

i highly recommend them..

i gotta clarify: i am selling AFTERMARKET PARTS only. i dont own the car. the insurance company does. i cannot part the stock car. only aftermarket parts will be available..

and- i suggested that if you knew of a part i was running, feel free to call dibs on it.

that should stop all of these part out pm's! sorry guys i didnt buy the car back to scrap it.

only aftermarket stuff will be sold.

My friend who works for an insurance company told me that buy back for totaled cars is usually somewhere in the range of 15-20%

 

actually it was more along the lines of 112% considering they paid me more than Bluebook for my car..
