Brake Shop

Does anyone know a good brake shop. I have a leak; I've tried fixing it myself ....didnt work. I 've already taken it to a shop and problem solved for about 24 hrs.

So does anyone know a good brake shop that will get it done right the first time?

Thanks everyone for your help

I put in steel braided brake lines myself back in Nov. I haven't had any problems until this weekend. All leaks were fixed, but yesterday coming home from work my break pedal fell to the floor. When I got home my front driver side line was leaking from were the hard line connects to the break line. I believe im using the correct type but I could be wrong. Have not drove vehicle since yesterday evening since im not sure what to do.

the right type is called a flare nut wrench. it's not the same as a standard open end. where do you live?

if the system wasn't bled properly or you had a small leak then that's the problem and now it's an even bigger problem.

We'd have to go right down the street to the auto hobby shop ( I can make it there safely) They close at 8pm weekdays and 5pm on weekends. I'd be available everyday after 4pm and all weekend. I'll buy lunch and all the beer . Thank you again for the help!!

Well even using Flare wrenches can round off...
On a newish car, I had to use Vise grips to get the oem lines off the hard lines..

Some people gave advice saying to spray PB Blast (which I did) and make sure you have a tight grip on the nut and "shock" break loose the connection..

Gotta be lucky I guess as I stopped when it started to look ugly when I tried to install on my friend's car...Would be great if they have the hard lines already pre-bent from parts dept if all fails, but I had to bend my lines from my cuzn's truck when his had a crack/leak due to vibration...

Good luck..
