my 2 year old never used apexi EL(rice) boost gauge went in last night. pretty fast 30 minutes thanks to info from wes and the web. used the upper grommet in the firewall. powered from the plug above the radio harness. when you look at the plug, it looks like a T, the top of the T is the - and the bottom is the +.

question:

-why did the boost gauge come with the check valve? is it needed? where does it go? i was missing the instructions for some reason.
-where did you guys mount your gauge?

thoughts:

-pulls a solid 20 in/hg vaccum at idle.
-i don't even touch 2 lbs when driving and i thought it was peppy. damn sti is gonna be fun at full boost.
-any ideas on how to change the gauge to a red like the sti cluster?
