Unhappy went to the track last night

well all in all i suck. lol ok i got an 04 wrx bone stock. my best run of 14.74 at 92 and some change. is this a good run for stock or do i need to improve my launch? i believe my 60 foot was 2.088. if someone could give me some advice that would be great. and a street launch vs a track launch is 2 different worlds.

14.74 isn't bad for a bone stock WRX and for it being your first time at the track.

Thumbs up

Not bad at all for your first time. Now if you got your 60 foot time lower you would be amazed at how much quicker your run would be.

Better than my first time out. My first time out, all stock, I ran a 15.1

Launching the car is tricky, but if you keep practicing you'll get the hang of it

Its all in the launch. Get your 60ft times under 2 seconds and you will be in the low 14's stock. Remember, hot weather kills et's, especially with a TMIC.

Hey Giligan I've seen you launch on the street and you usually do really well.
I'am betting that this was your first time to the track and will improve everytime you go. paying alot of attention to the lights will get ya sidetracked. Maybe I'll see ya out there. Peace

At those temps I would say you were doing great. Temp makes a really big difference. I'll try to find some information on temperature corrections.
