Thanks for sharing. I, too, suffer from the 'shopping with no money and seeing really good deals' problem. The clssic was when I had just completed my stage 1 and those ion spec turbos went up for sale. Those rods and pistons... MMmmmmm rods and pistons.

 

I feel the same way all the time and when I finally do have the money and go ahead and buy something it ends up sitting untill I get the time to install it.

Ha ha. If I had the money, that's when I do a little 'realignment' of funds.

She's caught me once, but I did a pretty good job of explaining it away. Don't know how long my attempts at trying to outsmart her are gonna last.

 

If I do have the money (the rare occasion that I do) and I really want something, I do the pathetic child-thing.

i finally had to ban my g/f from my car. i have way too much into it than she knows about, keep thinking, "why did i teach her so much about cars, now she will be able to tell when i do stuff." SHE REMEMBERS OTHER CARS EXHAUSTS AND TELLS ME ABOUT THEM!! she is way too smart.
