I'm a Big Ten guy, and though I hate the Buckeyes, I was pulling for them.

You've got to admit that that wasn't a beating so much as it was a meltdown. The Gators are a great team and most likely would've won no matter what, but OSU fell apart. They're a much better team than 82 total yards.

However, besides Wisconsin and Penn State, you could make a fair argument that the Big Ten conference was way overrated this year.

I'm an Indiana Hoosier, and since my football team couldn't even compete in a high school conference....I can say that.

I live in a Buckeye crazy part of Ohio and most of my employees are huge fans.

That being said...yeah Florida was a much better team tonight. Troy Smith didn't prove his greatness.

However, I would've really liked to see Florida play Boise State...that would've been a fun game to watch.

It would've been awesome to have seen any powerhouse play Boise State. My money would've been on BS against anyone.

Blake, we still haven't hooked up. I guarantee if my car doesn't fall apart between now and the spring, I'll make it to an autox in western Ohio. That or meet you in Indianapolis or Columbus, Indiana. BTW, have you heard about this: http://www.wingedwarrior.net/. I'm signed up to compete in it.

So, how are the midwest winters treating you?

A playoff system is needed but I doubt I'll see that happening in my lifetime.

I think you showed me that a while ago...yeah we do need to get together.

I'll be auto-x'ing for sure this coming season. But I drive an SI now and it isn't ready yet (the tires suck azz really badly).

It won't happen until people stop watching the bowl games and stop going to the football games.

The Big Ten controls most of the interests and will not give it up without a fight.

Right now they make plenty of money and keep the majority of it in the big conferences' pockets.
