battery?

anyone know where is the cheapest place to get aftermarket car batteries? optimal? i understand that we need the reverse terminal to fit it in our cars....thanks

What are you looking for? Optima?

You have to get a specific sized Optima to fit easilly or you can be like me and pop the clip to give you 3 more inches of Positive wire play and use the normal Optima.

Yeah you need reverse unless you have custom wiring

Just make sure it's neg on the right, pos on the left on the short side. How about Odyssey batteries, even smaller!

like bpang said you can just stretch the wire if yo cant find the reversed thats what i did

They do have the reverese on island... I know hangbot picked one up.

Optima makes a battery that works for our car without any modification. They also make a 17LB battery in both red and yellow tops, that will work. Check them out on this site: http://www.autobarn.net/opbat92cca.html

I know that shop quite well...I guess I probably have the reversed ones too...but still had to do the pull the wire off the clip mod.

where can i get odyssey batteries? can you give me more info on it? weight? size? price? is it deep cycle? thanks

Optima here

I got one for $70 at interstate batteries. It's one of those where customers claim that they aren't working or something. They test it out and then resell and offer 1 yr. warranty with it. Works fine with me. I popped the clip also and made the positive reach! Heavy though.
