Isn't this just the filter in the banjo bolt that goes on your turbo?

Should be, but I thought you only needed to do this if you were running AVCS? Because the filter wouldn't allow high enough pressure through the system for the AVCS to work properly...

Simply remove the bolt that attaches the turbo oil feed line to the passenger side head (this is the hard pipe, not hose, that attaches to the top of the turbo and the cylinder head) remove the filter with a small flat head screwdriver.

Use new crush washers when you re-install the bolt.

The best way to do this is with a short 17mm wrench. Use the boxed end to break it loose.

I have even cut a long 17mm wrench in half to do this before....but make sure you file/grind off all the sharp edges.

Just call rick at Subaru and ask him for the crush washers for the turbo and for the head.
you'll need 2 of each.
