To beat this damn Firebird, even with it's big blower

As the light goes green and I pull like no joke
The Firebird erupts in clouds of tire smoke
Now Smasher, now Revver, now Stroker, now Blitzin
These are the names of my four WRX pistons

Racing ahead I'm the star of the action
I don't have to worry, AWD gets me traction
Grabbing second I hear the RPM sing
All that V8 can see is my polished Vishnu muffler bling
I now hear the roar of that big monster gaining
All I can do is keep that four-banger straining
In a second the shockwave hits like a blast
My turbo lag ends, and that V8s a thing of the past

Don't bother with third, 'cause now it's too late
I want to keep going, but I guess I have to wait
Looking up at the headlights as they get smaller
I back off the gas just to give him a holler

"You can't win them all" I say in a fling
"You may not win any in that silly thing"
I smiled and revved as he pulled out of sight
AWD turbo owned another V8 tonight..."
