I'm not going to get into what caused the failure of my flywheel,just that I think the combination of lightweight flywheel & underdrive or lightweight pulley has proven to be a bad combo. My failure happened at a track day w/full red misting fury. Maybe street driving will stand up better with this combo, but I personally will never use this combo on any of my cars. Also as most of you know I beat the crap out of anything I get to take to the track,so my experiences & resulting breakage may not yield the same results from everyone.

Well,
I gotta ask. Was it a flywheel that was part one material mated to another, or was is the same material? It's not that aluminum or steel flywheels don't let go, it's just not very often. Just curious.

BTW I found Jungle Jim's and got all my Ethnic foods...so I am in Woot Level 6 right now.
